Delete your account

Effective 18 August 2026

BabyDays only creates an account if you chose to share a care log with a partner. If you have never used partner sharing, there is no account and nothing to delete — everything you have recorded is already on your iPhone alone, and deleting the app removes it.

What gets deleted

• Your account and the encrypted copy of your email address.
• Every sign-in session and refresh token, so all devices are signed out.
• Any unused invite codes you created.
• Your membership of any shared household.
• If you were the last person in a household: that household, and every care-log entry stored on the server for it.

What stays, and why

• Entries on your iPhone stay. Deleting an account is not the same as asking to lose your baby's history, so the local log is left alone. To remove that too, delete the app, or export a backup first from Settings › Export local backup.
• A shared household with other members in it stays. If someone else is still in it, the household and its entries continue for them, and ownership passes to the longest-standing remaining member. Their record of your family's days is not ours to delete on your behalf.
• Purchase records stay with Apple. Apple and RevenueCat keep receipts and purchase status under their own legal requirements. Lifetime access is tied to your Apple Account, not to a BabyDays account, so deleting your account does not cost you a purchase — you can restore it at any time.

If you no longer have the app

1. Send the request. Email gianlucalvs@gmail.com with the subject “BabyDays account deletion request”.
2. Write from the right address. Send it from the email address the account uses — that is how we verify it is yours. If that is not possible, we will ask for another safe way to confirm before deleting anything.
3. Get confirmation. Verified requests are completed within 7 days, and you will get a confirmation at the address you wrote from.
